Sales Training
The sales training is comprised of:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes each year.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes yearly.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better empower the RSC for success in their market.
  • Two (2) different sales programs offered for General Managers biannually, totaling four-and-a-half training days, focusing on sales culture and everyday sales operation.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians includes:

  • Heating and cooling system tune-up procedural training twice a year
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection in the fall
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ semiannually
  • Ongoing NATE certification and specialty programs as required

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in supplementary education through the roll out of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc programs to better provide education to our technical personnel.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice a year, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to offer support, tools, and framework for running a business from the P&L aspect.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times annually, perform outbound calling through a one (1) day program. In this class we go over HVAC basics, why people buy, calling techniques, scripts, customer purchase signs, and overcoming customer complaints.

Dispatcher

  • No formal training provided. Ongoing training given by the General Manager and relevant staff at the center.
