Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to sponsor the Midlands Ride for Kids last month. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this remarkable event that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit funding research into childhood brain tumors. The donations fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts raised $1000 for this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has gathered over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids every year.
“My dad’s riding group participates every year because they can have a good time and ride motorcycles, all for an amazing cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it for the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air adores being involved in their community and participating in great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and raise awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
