"Technician Ryan Burnett was on time and called to let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived he completed his routine maintenance on heating system & proceeded to the AC unit once he was done. He changed all filters and cleaned the compressor coils on the AC unit. And replaced a piece that was needed for the heating unit. Everything was completed in a timely manner and he made 1 recommendation on getting a UV bulb. Every time a tech comes out to perform maintenance they're very knowledgeable and seek help when there is a problem that can't be solved by calling a supervisor and the issue is corrected. I look forward to my next check up in next few months. :)"

"I called weeks ago and scheduled my service check for 11/1. On 11/1 the time scheduled came and went and nobody showed. I called the office and they claimed that sometimes the scheduler messes up and my appointment is showing for 12/1. I took time to rearrange my calendar and the office messed up with no apology. We rescheduled for 11/11 because I am not free on 12/1 (which is exactly why I know I would have never scheduled it that day). My appointment on 11/11 was to be sometime between 12-2. At exactly 2pm nobody had arrived. I called the office and was told "he's on his way". The tech called me at 2:05 and said he was still 30-40 min away. He finally arrived around 2:45. Service Experts has done this multiple times. There is a total disregard for customers time. I had scheduled my day to ensure I was available for the time frame I was given and when he shows 45 min after that time and stays until 4pm, that is disrespectful of your customers. A simple call earlier would have helped me plan better. The tech told me "I had to help at someone's house who didn't have heat" as if to imply that other customers are more important than some. The tech has been to my home 2 times now (spring check and fall check) and each time is too chatty. This past time he stood at my door for 30 min or so telling me about his divorce, how he's looking for work elsewhere, told me I was pretty and said "I noticed you don't have a ring on your finger".....so not only was he late but he was inappropriate. Please note: I have been a customer for many years and my experience continues to be that my time isn't a priority and the tech will show whenever he chooses regardless of the time I am quoted."

My issues are that the technician wanted to blame us for what's going on and it wasn't exactly friendly. That being said I'm also concerned I was sold a unit that is an appropriate for my home and I'm concerned that I'm going to keep running into these issues. If your company keeps up with checking it when they come here like they're supposed to and by unit runs like it should I would have more face in this company. Again the higher up supervisors have been nothing but amazing when it comes to dealing with my issues and a timely manner if the technicians that have not been so great."

"Called ahead & was timely. He came in wearing a mask & never took it off or lowered it from his face the entire time. As he inspected the water heater, he described what he was doing, why & what it meant regarding the type (clean/clear) water I had at my home. He reassured me I had an excellent brand in a Bradford White, told me what temperature it should be on, etc. etc. etc. I always ask many questions so I can gain knowledge from a reputable professional. In conversation, I had mentioned the difference between the previous water heater I purchased from Service Experts that came with a lot of frustration & multiple service call experience(s). I quite honestly doubted I'd ever purchase or use the service again with the company. I just wanted to get the year inspection and be done. Brian's professionalism, advice, opinions, conscientiousness, common sense & quality care in his craft... gave me an entirely different perspective on the company, in the plumbing service area. He built trust with his knowledge, communication, patience & never did I feel he was rushing, wasting my time or just going thru the motion. He did what he was there to do and more and all the while very pleasant. IMO though, his best quality is educating a customer with his knowledge, confidence in his craft & excellent communication skills. It really helped me feel certain I had a brand that wasn't gonna fail me. If I do have a future plumbing need, I will call Service Experts but will ask for Brian & hope he'll still be there. He was careful too when coming inside putting covers on his shoes. He also went the extra mile, as I mentioned a leaky, dripping faucet inside my garage, on the exterior side of the enclosed water heater. (I knew I was wasting water & money) I hated to use this faucet due to the annoying drip! He took the time to look at it. I had it all taped up. He took off the wraps, saw it did drip & immediately said it looked like an easy fix, went to his truck, got some tool, said it looked like it just needed tightened. Now, it no longer leaks! Sounds simple, but to me it's sometimes the small things that matter most. He is exceptional in service. He built my trust w/the company again but if I need future plumbing of any kind, I will ask for Brian and hope he'll still be there! He cares about quality work & customer satisfaction. Brian should be a manager without question, definitely someone in charge that can make sound quality decisions! He's bright! He's trustworthy! He knows his craft!"

"Chad did the serving of the AC unit. Jason came upstairs and said that my hot water tank was about ready to go. He showed me pics of curled plastic on top and green around the copper outlet pipe. Also said there were crystals on top; all together my tank had at somepoint overheated and it could blow up and cause a lot of water damage in the basement maybe tomorrow or 6-9 months. He suggested it be replaced as soon as possible. Being elderly (72) I bought his line. My sister thought based on what he was saying we should get a new tank. I was very hesitant because I have a lot of medical bills, in fact going in hospital for another surgery Thursday 3/25. I really didn't know how I could afford it, but my sister volunteered to help with the payments. I was not able to go down the steps to look at the old one, but looked at it outside once they had taken it out. The father of the installer said that he would not have replaced it just yet. I feel very taken and that I was lied to outright. At that point the new tank was almost finished installing and I could not cancel out. My faith in Service Experts has suddenly gone to zero. I just renew my HVAC service contract an wish I had not. I will not renew it next year and if I can find a way out of this contract I think I would. The HVAC tech was very nice and I trust my AC was truly serviced. It was Jason who did the "sales pitch". I certainly hope the next person is not taken advantage of!"

"The appointment was scheduled a week before, but nobody came. When I called, I was told there is no longer a plumber servicing water heaters in central Ohio. However, when I explained that I was told this would certainly be included in my maintenance package, they agreed to reschedule. This second appointment was apparently marked in your system as complete, and the technicians only came after I called directly to ask if they were still coming. Overall communication and scheduling prior to the visit was very poor. This was frustrating as I have very limited availability in my schedule and it is a major inconvenience to have to reschedule. In addition I had previously requested that my name be updated in your system (someone took the liberty of shortening Jonathan to "Jon" which is not my name or a name I go by) and this was never done."

"The rating is for the service tech that came to remove and install the faulty tankless hot water tank. Not for the events that led up to the getting the install from the office.For that part I would give a 4. The reason is that I have the advantage program on the tankless system. It developed on a Sunday. Called Monday told tech would be out that night between 4 and 8. Got call at 730 and tech could not make it. Next Tech came out Tuesday morning and the repair fix lasted about two hours, then back to the same thing. I called Tuesday afternoon and told them to bring another unit since I have the advantage program. They told me they we talking to Rinnai about a credit on my unit. Well I have the Advantage program and thought you had to take care of it no matter what. Heater not installed until Thursday mid morning. Very upset on how long 4 days of no hot water. That unit should have been replaced on Wednesday a day sooner instead waiting on rinnai to tell you if you can get a credit on the unit first.."
